See It In Action
Cloudy, yellowed headlights can put out as little as 20% of the light of new ones. (AAA)
In AAA testing, headlight restoration brought light output back to about 70% of new headlights.
Cloudy headlights don't just make your car look old. They cut the light you need to spot deer, potholes and pedestrians in time. Clarix polishes away the yellow haze in about 30 minutes, so you can see the road clearly again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work on my car?
Yes, on the plastic headlight lenses used on most cars, trucks and SUVs. It removes yellowing and haze on the outside of the lens. It won't fix moisture inside the headlight or a cracked lens. Those need a replacement.
Is it hard to do?
Not at all. If you can wash your car, you can do this. Tape off the paint, apply the emulsion with the included sponge, and polish. Most people finish both headlights in about 30 minutes. Start with one side and compare it to the other.
How long do the results last?
Plastic headlights are always exposed to the sun, so no restoration lasts forever, including a professional one. To keep them clear longer, wash your car regularly and park in shade when you can. When you see haze starting to return, just reapply.
Will it scratch my paint?
Not if you tape around the headlight first. Use masking or painter's tape on the paint and trim before you start, and remove it when you're done.
Why not just use toothpaste?
Toothpaste only buffs the very top of the haze, so the yellow comes back within weeks. Clarix's restoration emulsion is made for oxidized headlight plastic, so you get a clearer, more even result.
What if it doesn't work for me?
You're covered by our 30-Day Crystal-Clear Guarantee. If your headlights aren't visibly clearer, email us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. No return shipping needed.
